(More customer reviews)I have struggled with a chronically overactive sympathetic nervous system most of my life due to unregulated stressors that almost produced a permanent conditioned hyperactive response. This eventually led to chronic exhaustion. I have tried numerous products to help calm my elevated pulse and alleviate nervous tension so that my body can heal but none have worked short or long term...until this product. I initially read about the power of Reishi from bodybuilder Eddie Robinson. Apparently it has androgenic, and anti-androgenic functions as potentially a mild DHT blocker, which I do not particularly like. But those studies were on the prostates of rats, and that doesn't necessarily mean it blocks ALL DHT in humans. Partially blocking DHT in the prostate is not a bad thing. Apparently Eddie Robinson had no problem building muscle on Reishi, so I am not worried this study means much for humans. In any event, my chronic nervous exhaustion is relieved through this supplement, and I imagine it would do the same for others who refuse to take SSRIs or whatnot that may or may not help. This has to be Michael Tierra's best product, and certaintly the best "adaptogenic" product I've ever tried. Most of the other adaptogenic supplements I've tried just make me sleepier, but this seems to reroute energy almost immediately and increase functioning of everything. Keep in mind that this product has more than just reishi in it. I debated just getting the Reishi - solo product but I did not experience quite the same positive effects when I took a reishi only liquid extract in the past.
