(More customer reviews)Okay, so I was really excited when I saw this. It was one of BBW's new scents for spring this year, and, to me, seemed to stand out in a trio of home-spun, traditional looking new hand soap scents for the season (complete with green pump tops).
I would say that I'm a fan of pomogranate. While I wouldn't say that it's my favorite thing in the world, I do enjoy the smell and think it's one of the more enjoyable fruity scents out there. Fruity is definitely delivered here -it seems deep and fragrant, but doesn't quite strike the balance between fruity and enjoyable. To me, there was a very heavy under scent (okay, is that even a real phrase?) of soap. While some people enjoy this because it makes them feel and smell clean, this has always been an aspect of BBW's hand soaps that I've really enjoyed -they are a luxurious indulgence rather than a basic soap necessity. So, this "soapy" undertone was a huge turn-off for me.
Sadly, because of this I was disappointed in Pomogranate Passion. Goes to show you that you should be sure to smell everything before buying it!
