This is wool fat soap... wool fat is lanolin, with anything containing "wool fat", lurking underneath the sandalwood fragrance there is the odor of lanolin. I use Bay Rhum afterwards which smells great. We have grown so unaccustomed to natural smells these days, that lanolin smell seems "slightly off", but it doesn't linger. The soap will make your skin feel fantastic. I'd have given 5 stars except for the rather high price. Regain your appreciation for the natural! Also, it's a link to our past.
