(More customer reviews)After watching a couple of reviews about the Shea Terra product line on You Tube, I decided to give this Mint Marrakesh Elixir a try. I was already familiar with black soap (I've used both African black soap and Hammam bath black soap). However, the idea of combining the black soap with Peppermint intrigued me. I remembered being in high school and using a Mint face wash from St. Ives and how refreshing it was and how revitalized it left my face feeling. I loved, loved, LOVED that cool tingly sensation. So, I was excited to try this, so that I could experience that feeling again. And boy oh boy, I was totally NOT disappointed. And, it's even better because not only do I have the pepperminty, tingly feel, but this soap is totally natural (unlike St. Ives).
I use this with my Clarisonic Pro and it feels so fabulously amazing that I can't wait to get home at night, just to wash my face. The combination of cleansing with the Clarisonic and the mint in this soap makes me feel like I am far away in Dubai in some diamond award, luxurious spa.
I just LOVE this!!!!! And 18 bucks is a great price! This is definitely going to be a staple in my skin care routine. My skin also looks clean and is glowing. I bought the Shea Terra Argan Oil to use with this during the day. At night I use the Avalon Organics Lavender Serum (which is really a vitamin C serum). I will be sure to post a review on the Argan oil as soon as I try it out. They (Shea Terra) also have a wide selection of oils to choose from. Many of them are available right here on Amazon for the best prices.
