(More customer reviews)This sponge initially starts out hard as a rock. You would have to soak this sponge for awhile before you can get it soft enough to rub on your child. I first tested this out on myself, and found that my hands felt really dry, like the oils had been removed from my hands. I'm not sure that I would recommend using this on children.
