(More customer reviews)Mmmmm---Valobra! A mildly-scented,lightly mentholated shaving soap. It is very old-school Italian soap that has stood the test of time well. Valobra easily brushes into a thick, lubricating lather that smells a bit like Ivory soap with a touch of menthol. It produces a soothing & cooling effect after being on your face for a few minutes or on the 2nd/3rd lathering. I find it very pleasant. Gives a close shave and leaves the face smooth and moisturized. Great, classic stuff.
This soap is soft,like putty. It comes wrapped in paper and is best used by scraping a chunk of it from the wrapper and pressing it into a container such as a small food-storage cup. It can then be brushed into a lather, using the cup as a shaving mug. Valobra is meant to be used with a shaving brush.
Anyone looking for a great wet-shaving soap should give Valobra a try. It is a Classic treat!
