My daughter and husband are extremely sensitive to poison ivy, and this product seems to be the only thing that works to prevent an outbreak or reduce spreading. We keep it handy to use right after exposure (the best time to use it), although it also works well after the rash has started. The product apparently dissolves the oil that causes the rash, so the rash doesn't spread.
