(More customer reviews)I have been shaving for about 3 years now, and my skin is very sensitive. When i began shaving i was plagued by razor bumps, ingrown hairs and pimples that formed in the next day or two. I tried so many products that helped a little but none as much as this. This stuff is truly great, I kid you not. Its practically a facial panacea. It works like many products in one. It is one of the best toners ive tried, it removes dirt sweat etc. gets rid of peeling skin by lossening it up, definitely stops razor bumps. And this is one of the best parts, it does a better job of clearing up pimples than anything ive tried, i'm not sure if they are aware that it can do that at the company. I recommend this product to all new to shaving, or anyone for that matter. Its fairly expensive, however if your careful about how much you use it will last a long time. I only use a second or so squeeze on a cotton ball and it covers my whole face amply, i even use the extra to cover small blemishes on my chest, back of my neck etc...

Barber Alum Review

(More customer reviews)At $4.49 for an 80 gram block versus $20+ for a 75 gram block of Taylor of Old Bond Street or any of the other so called name brands, it's a no brainer. I don't care what brand you buy, it's all hydrated aluminium potassium sulfate... period. Charging or paying up to 5 times for exactly the same thing is shear madness. I'm an active member of one of the major on-line straight razor forums. It never ceases to amaze me how snobbish people get about names and prices. If your brush didn't cost $200 it can't possibly be any good, and you can't possibly get good lather from any soap or cream that costs less than $25 for a small cake or tube.
This is alum folks, pure and simple. Taylor, Dovo, Osma, Art of Shaving, Trumper, et al... it's all just alum. If you want to pay stupid show off prices go ahead while I save my money.

There is some alcohol content but the Vitamin E and Witch Hazel natural cleanser gives you a good, natural skin cleansing. The pads are very moist and provide some abrasion to wash away dirt and keep hairs (if you're a man like me) from becoming ingrown too easily etc...,
Great replacement for washing your face every night - use these, slap on some lotion and go to bed with a clean, moisturized face. I also noticed shaving irritation redness and small acne-like bumps seemed to clear up some with repeated use.

You should try it if you like natural soaps.

(More customer reviews)First of all let me say I don't have sensitive skin. I'm blonde, green eyes, fair to medium complexion, oily to combination skin. I started using Clinique 20 yrs ago, while in high school. My skin started breaking out big time, and because I have fair skin the redness from the breakouts stayed long after they cleared up. My skin was looking bad when I discovered Clinique. I used the soap and clarifying astringent and my skin cleared up beautifully! I got through my acne prone adolescent years practically blemish free and I get compliments on my complexion to this day. I started both my kids on Clinique as soon as they hit middle school and both of them have great skin compared to their friends. This soap is fabulous! It deep cleans the skin and is the foundation to a great complexion. My husband has super oily skin with a history of severe acne and he uses the stronger soap with great success. He says he wishes he'd known about Clinique as a teen it might have prevented some scarring. My kids (ages 18 & 13) use the whole line of Clinique products and they managed to escape major breakouts and the heavy scarring that goes with it. Clinique and a good sunscreen are your tickets to great skin.

Its great for all skin conditions, acne, eczema, fungal infections, and just good skin. It is full of wonderful herbs that are great to clear and purify the skin that are used in Ayurvedic medicine, and it is very gentile on the skin and not at all harsh. I have very sensitive skin, and I've had no problems with it. Plus, it smells wonderful! I love Medimix! I wish I could find it more easily in the US. This is one of my favorites soaps, that are affordable enough to buy all the time. :) I love it! I cant recommend it enough, buy a bar and fall in love :D
