(More customer reviews)Zia's "Ultimate Toning Mist for Normal/Oily Skin" is the first item in the Zia line that I've purchased, and if the quality of the purchase is any indication, I'll be researching and buying other items from their line, as well!
I was looking for an anti-oxidant for my skin. My search led me to Zia's product.
Zia mixes lycopene with vitamins and alpha lipoic acid. Their blend comes in a spray mist that has a light citrus scent. Zia claims that it will refresh and control oil while firming skin and refining pores. I'm just ordered my third bottle on my one year anniversary with the product. I can tell you that using the mist makes me feel incredibly refreshed -- the directions call for you to apply to face and throat, and then follow with moisturizer while your face is still damp, helping to smooth the flow of moisturizer to skin. I can seriously say that I've had no oil control problems with my face (under foundation or without) using Zia's mist than before.
Does it firm skin? Prevent wrinkles? Hard to say; I can't really claim that, but I can tell you that, at nearly 50, I've actually had compliments on the appearance and texture of my skin from friends; and this is the first time that ever happened!

Barber Alum Review

(More customer reviews)At $4.49 for an 80 gram block versus $20+ for a 75 gram block of Taylor of Old Bond Street or any of the other so called name brands, it's a no brainer. I don't care what brand you buy, it's all hydrated aluminium potassium sulfate... period. Charging or paying up to 5 times for exactly the same thing is shear madness. I'm an active member of one of the major on-line straight razor forums. It never ceases to amaze me how snobbish people get about names and prices. If your brush didn't cost $200 it can't possibly be any good, and you can't possibly get good lather from any soap or cream that costs less than $25 for a small cake or tube.
This is alum folks, pure and simple. Taylor, Dovo, Osma, Art of Shaving, Trumper, et al... it's all just alum. If you want to pay stupid show off prices go ahead while I save my money.

Thayers Witch Hazel Pads Review

There is some alcohol content but the Vitamin E and Witch Hazel natural cleanser gives you a good, natural skin cleansing. The pads are very moist and provide some abrasion to wash away dirt and keep hairs (if you're a man like me) from becoming ingrown too easily etc...,
Great replacement for washing your face every night - use these, slap on some lotion and go to bed with a clean, moisturized face. I also noticed shaving irritation redness and small acne-like bumps seemed to clear up some with repeated use.

(More customer reviews)I purchased 2 bottles of Thayer's Cucumber Witch Hazel along with the Thayer's Witch Hazel with Aloe Pads. Thayers Original Witch Hazel with Organic Aloe Vera Formula Astringent Pads 60 ea. While I like both products, I think I liked the Original Witch Hazel with Aloe the best. One bottle is for my husband to use in his semi to freshen up between showers. It is a very good product, but it has a faint sweetness to it which I wasn't expecting. I does feel fantastic on your skin after a shower - makes my face feel moisturized without any oil or lotions.

I've been using this toner for a while now - doesn't cause breakouts or dry out skin - nor does it make skin oily in anyway. Very nice toner and natural as well. Smells is very faint and nice without leaving a perfumey scent on your skin
